Lex graduated with a first-class degree in Education with Psychology from the University of Bath in 2018. Her primary research interests were education inequalities in post-colonial contexts, and the psychosocial implications of contemporary education policy. Throughout university, she also worked at a UK summer camp for children and teenagers from across the world.
Prior to joining Disability Africa, Lex worked as a Learning Mentor within a secondary school, focusing primarily on socio-emotional and mental health needs - particularly amongst students with ASD, ADHD, and various learning difficulties.
