Dr Penny Gibson
Penny is a retired Consultant Community Paediatrician who worked in Surrey. She lead the local Developmental paediatric service and also advised health service commissioners in her role as Clinical Champion for Children and Families for NHS Surrey. Penny is a fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health and a former member of the RCPCH Advocacy committee.
In her role as Community Paediatrician in Surrey, Penny has worked for many years with disabled children, young people and their families. She has taken a robust stance to champion appropriate services for disabled children and contributed to many multi-disciplinary and multi-agency groups.
